Regional Sales Director

We have an opportunity for a Regional Sales Director responsible for advertising sales through CPG clients directly, digital agencies and shopper marketing agencies. The ideal candidate will be experienced in consultative sales that drive results. This position is based in Minneapolis and qualified candidates in Chicago, New York or California would be considered.

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish and continue presence for display, mobile, video and other GSN solutions with clients, agencies, and partner relationships
  • Collaborate with account management, analytics, and business development team to develop new business.
  • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication that is clear, well-organized, and demonstrates an understanding of audience needs
  • Achieve monthly revenue goals and be pro-active in driving revenue
  • Help identify client’s digital advertising needs and work closely with the Account Management team and provide strategic solutions
  • Identify contacts and call on clients direct, shopper marketing and national agencies.
  • Attend industry related events and networking opportunities

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Consultative selling experience within the digital media and advertising space, working directly with clients and collaborating with agencies. The ideal candidate will have experience providing customers with ideas that solve their challenges and drive ROI
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in digital media with the able to demonstrate past sales success in meeting quotas and managing client accounts.
  • CPG and Agency experience – working direct with clients and a rolodex of customers
  • Able to communicate and work with senior level managers
  • Sharp business sense, entrepreneurial, resourceful, and results orientated
  • Strong computer and internet skills; Salesforce, DoubleClick/DART, MS Office and web based applications
  • Candidate should have BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience

Client Onboarding Specialist

The Client Onboarding Specialist facilitates new client accounts from acceptance of contract to launch of services. The purpose of this position is to ensure a smooth onboarding process for the client; making sure the relationship is setup to last. The Client Onboarding Specialist will have ownership of the onboarding process, setting up the client in our internal systems and provide clear communication to the client of their individual account expectations and goals. This is an entry level position with a great opportunity to learn our solutions and grow within the organization.

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with account management and development staff to onboard clients through the activation process
  • Act as the main point of contact, responsible for daily communication and follow-ups with each client to ensure a speedy and efficient setup
  • Entry of client information into internal systems
  • Walkthrough website feature function list to determine client needs
  • Evaluate clients existing website for onboard preparation
  • Work with client or third party vendor to provide creative assets

Project Manager

The Project Manager position serves a key role in the management and delivery of Grocery Shopping Network’s Roadmap projects. The Project Manager works in concert with other project stakeholders to meet the overall project goals in terms of scope, quality, budget, and schedule.

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages projects employing a solid foundation of project management methodology
  • Services as a business analyst, identify requirements, needs, deliverables, and the timelines of the project by working with the customer, vendor and internal resources
  • Facilitates team formation and interaction
  • Develop project planning documents and collaborate with the customer, vendor and internal resources for project plan approvals
  • Create and maintain project schedules, deliverables, budgets, issues, risks and status reporting
  • Track project progress, variances and issues, identify and mitigate risks through the project lifecycle
  • Build relationships and communicate effectively on a day to day basis with the customer, vendors and internal resources assigned to the project
  • Manage and lead to the agreed upon milestones, deliverables and project completion
  • Provides day to day resource management of the customer, vendors and internal resources
  • Develop knowledge of multiple web platforms
  • Conduct webinars and phone conferences

Client Account Manager

The Client Account Manager (CAM) is responsible for the execution of services, projects and products sold to our customers as well as maintaining and enhancing the customer relationship. The CAM is customer facing, working with a variety of customer personnel, from executives downward. The CAM works as a liaison between the customer, internal staff and GSN 3rd parties in serving the customer’s needs.

Our main goal is to provide world class client service to enhance the company’s ability to increase renewals, upsells and cross sells of GSN solutions. Our client base is primarily related to the grocery industry. This role requires a strong understanding of client management processes, e-commerce technology and sales/marketing.

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages all aspects of the customer relationship with the objective of complete customer satisfaction
  • Through regular customer interaction, set expectations and regularly monitor and communicate our progress in meeting those expectations
  • Build and maintain effective, personal and sustainable relationships with senior customer management
  • Identify and respond to account business opportunities and challenges
  • Serve as the customer advocate and the primary focal point for day to day account management activities. Serves as the first point of contact for application related issues.
  • Where appropriate, work with and oversee project management functions performed by internal and external groups
  • Serves as a Project Manager for various types of projects and customer activities, managing internal and GSN 3rd party resources, foster collaboration and team work
  • Works with internal and 3rd party teams to review customer requirements, specify services and work needed, generate cost and pricing estimates
  • Schedules internal meetings with team members to review and discuss project strategies, timelines, risks and contingency plans for projects
  • Creates detailed executable Project Plans using MS Project or equivalent tools
  • Identifies project risks and defines mitigation strategies
  • Schedules and facilitates project kick off meetings with internal and Customer personnel, explains the project plan, milestones, risks and mitigation strategies
  • Provides end-to-end oversight and guidance of project activities, ensuring successful completion of the project
  • Monitors and tracks progress according to schedules and reports problems or required actions as necessary to meet deadlines
  • Tracks budgets and ensure time and expenses are reported appropriately
  • Assess risks and effectiveness of mitigation strategies, modifying project plans as needed
  • Communicates regularly with management and other GSN internal personnel on project status and remedies for delays or other problems
  • Manages Project Change Control process
  • Conducts regular status meetings with both internal and customer personnel
  • Identifies and ensures resolution of any post implementation issues
  • Facilitates Post Project review sessions with internal and customer personnel
  • Knows and demonstrates knowledge in the products we sell and how they would be used in the customer’s environment
