Ad Operations Manager

Job Description

Manage ongoing ad operations for all graphical advertising on our two ad networks – GSN StoreSite and GSN OutReach. This includes sales operations, traffic management, regular reporting and analytics.

  • Responsible for all aspects related to setting up, implementing, optimizing and monitoring the delivery of advertising campaigns.
  • Develop all US graphical ad operations processes, coordinating closely with internal stakeholders and external agencies
  • Maximize ad yields by managing and optimizing ad campaigns through internal and external tools. Regularly measure and analyze the performance of campaigns, and identify strategies for maximizing advertiser ROI.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Product Management to identify, design, test, and rollout new graphical advertising placements that will enhance the company’s advertising strategy. This includes standard IAB placements as well as custom ad placements/experiences
  • Identify GSN’s ad operations infrastructure needs, and work with sales management and technical resources to build the capabilities
  • Be a strong strategic partner for Sales
  • Manage GSN ad serving partner relationships

Job Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of internet Ad Operations experience

  • Deep understanding of ad-serving technologies, particularly DART for Publishers (DFP)
  • Knowledge of 3rd party ad tags (Mediaplex, Atlas and Doubleclick), Rich Media, Java Script and HTML
  • Experience with various reporting tools and systems. Ability to pull data and strong analytical skill set (including forecasting)
  • Ability to foster productive relationships with internal and external business partners. Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detailed knowledge of the advertising industry, particularly ad operations
  • Strong attention to detail; exceptional technical and problem-solving skills; strategic mindset
  • Adept at project management and multi-tasking
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines using strong organization and time management skills
  • Solid understanding of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Salesforce
  • Undergraduate degree required

BA/BS required
